OUR APPROACH

The Power of Therapy

Exploring how certain issues have formed can help you work through feeling stuck. We all find ways to cope with or adjust to difficult experiences/situations. Yet, these ways that helped us at one point can also keep us stuck in misery and dysfunctional patterns.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy helps you know the roots of why you feel the way you do, or are engaging in certain patterns. By understanding your mind, emotions and past experiences in deeper ways, we explore what is unconsciously motivating certain patterns. Our focus is less on decreasing symptoms than on increasing self-acceptance and your ability to tolerate difficult emotions to live a richer life.
